Let's Chalk About Change!

On September 3rd, 2020 from 2:00-4:00pm everyone in Hopkinton was invited to grab some chalk and head out to onto their driveways to write messages of love, inclusion, and acceptance in the community-wide "Let's Chalk about Change" initiative.

The event was intended to unite the community in beginning a conversation about greater equality, acceptance, and inclusion of social and racial minorities in Hopkinton.

"Let's Chalk About Change" was inspired by the Wee the People Boston "Wee Chalk the Walk" event

The event was hosted by the Hopkinton High School Diversity Club in collaboration with the Hopkinton Freedom Team and with the generous support of:

  • Hopkinton Public Schools
  • Hopkinton Police Department
  • Hopkinton Fire Department
  • Hopkinton Youth and Family Services
  • Hopkinton Youth Commission
  • BIPOC at Hopkinton
  • Hopkinton Cultural Council
  • Hopkinton Women's Club
  • Hopkinton Marathon Quilter's Guild
  • South Asian Circle of Hopkinton (SACH)
  • Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA)
  • Hopkinton Parent Teacher's Organization (HPTO)
